What is your question?
My 93 ranger starts up fine running good then when I get in to reverse it won't move untill I hold down on the gas and same for drive then it drives fine but then when I come to a stop sign or red light it won't move again until I hold the gas and then the whole truck shakes and starts moving again fine what's the problem?
What makes this problem better or worse?
It's better after I have to rev it up and give it some gas
How long has your 1993 Ford Ranger had this problem?

Hello, it sounds like you are having some automatic transmission engagement problems. This transmission should be an A4LD, which has a vacuum modulator, however, the concerns you are sharing sound like perhaps some kind of sticking in the valve body or even a concern with internal clutches. It would be best to consult a local technician near you with some experience with these pre-electronic automatic transmissions who can assist.
