removed shifter and think I knocked transmission out of neutral while doing it-

I hope it's something not complicated and something that I can do without too much trouble...can/will you tell me how to do this please?...it's not my truck...I put a clutch and slave cylinder in for my son's friend and this is all that's preventing me from getting truck back to owner...thanks

Just have to move shifting forks inside transmission back to neutral

is there any kind of video or picture showing these shift forks and where they should be?...this is new to me please?...not sure what to look for and move...thank you

I don't know about a video Forks have a notch in them for shifting ball on shifter to go in line them all up in center
