Wheel hub

1990 Ford Ranger and heard a clicking noise in the front driver side wheel I took the wheel off to check and see if the bearing with bad and within minutes the entire wheel hub had sunk about an inch off the ground I looked around the suspension I can't seem to see anything that is broken. Any ideas
