still getting bad gas mileage

i dont have a cap or rotor. and what do you mean by a new idle air control motor with throttle body cleaning.also what is the proper temp for the engine.

The IAC is located on the right side of the engine as you face it, just under the black plastic cover on the throttle body. It has two bolts holding it on with a plug at the rear. Some folks try to clean them out with carb cleaner but I haven't any luck with that. New is better. May help with the rough idle surge but may continue to idle a little rough. The rough idle problem is up for grabs...intake manifold gaskets leaking, Fuel injector "O" rings leaking, vacuum leak (check grommet at vacuum check valve on power brake unit) For the bad gas mileage problem try a bottle or two of good gas treatment (Lucas) in a couple of tanks of gas. Injectors may just be dirty.
