What is your question?
I have a project vehicle 1990 ranger with the 2.9 v6 the vehicle only 65000 miles and other than 2small rust patches it is clean. The vehicle was a ‘barn find’ was stored for years. There is an age related issues with the rubber that was original. I have been trying to repair. I pulled off the crankshaft pulley and the harmonic balancer was missing chunks of rubber. I am having trouble removing it, have a pulley puller doesn’t move

Hello, from my recollection, there is a key and keyway for the balancer. I believe you need a specific puller for this Cologne built 2.9L V6 engine. Workshop manual information I'm reading does not address it, unfortunately. I'd suggest reaching out to a shop near you for guidance. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
