1996 Black Ford Probe problems

What is your question?

I have a 1996 Probe which is in decent body shape, but doesn't run. Low 70,000s mileage. Has had 2 transmissions and other repairs. Would like to sell - maybe for body parts or to someone who wants to put it back on the road. How do you go about this? I put an ad in local paper. Got no reply. A junker offered me $200. Is this fair? I would think it'd be worth more than that just in parts. I would have it repaired and it would run for a short time and quit and I would take it back and it would run and same thing - it would quit. It had something to do with the alternator and the service people kept putting new ones in and they wouldn't last.
