What is your question?
my battery is not holding a charge. It is not very old. my altinater I think is OK. is testing almost 13v. I think it might poss be some kind of elec short. Is there a way to check for shorts without testers, because I dont have one. I'll get one if ness

Turn on the ignition switch to the on but not run position do you see an icon on the instrument panel representing a battery, if you do not see this battery icon the alternator is not seeing power to allow it to charge. Start the engine does the battery icon go out. A more complex but good diagnostic test is checking "voltage drop" on the battery ground and power cables. You can find a video on how to do a voltage drop test on youtube. Put a volt meter across the battery terminals with the engine off, at rest the battery voltage should be 12.6 volts if the battery is fully charged. Now get a friend to start the car while you watch the voltmeter, the voltage reading across the battery should read approximately 14.6 volts if the alternator is charging correctly. To check for battery draw you need an amp meter put in series with either the positive or negative battery cable, with the doors closed ignition key out of the ignition the parasitic draw should be .1 Amps or less. I would first start by having the battery charged and tested with a hydrometer if possible and a high rate discharge test to see if the battery was capable of with standing a load.
Was having trouble with my 95 Probe. Had to get jumpstart, and was told that the battery cables were too short from the battery to the fuse box. Had the cables replaced and adjusted to the proper length. Nothing was getting charged properly because the battery cables were wrong length.
