Why does my mustang have a rough idle when stopped?

The car has a rough idle at time whenever I come to a complete stop. The RPMs do fluctuate a bit but its not dramatic. The car has even shut off multiple times after it idles rough after a few seconds. I've seen it also seem to trigger it at times once I go into reverse. I have tried an Oil change and cleaning the MAF sensor but nothing has helped and its getting worse as time passes.
