What is your question?
I have a 2007 ford mustang v6 4.0 auto, recently the car will randomly bog down and stall out while driving, very randomly and not often...the other day it did it and wouldn't start back immediately. Finally got it to start after about 20 mins.. went a short drive home, the next day it wouldn't crank Not just crank but not do anything at all just the Normal relay noises and fuel pump noise...I took battery out and got it fully charged it was being drained apparently, out of no where yesterday after about 6hrs or messing with it. It just Crunk up normal like nothing was wrong idled fine sounded good...turned the key off and tried to start back and absolutely nothing again...I've went thru every fuse and they're all good. The starter will not start the car even when jumping from fuse box. Would the alternator be the culprit behind all of this????

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! No! Not the 'Stang! Hard to gallop down the street when the pony won't run! The alternator may be the culprit, especially if the battery is being drained unexpectedly. A failing alternator can cause erratic electrical behavior in the car, leading to issues like random stalling and difficulty starting. Can't hurt to check the alternator for voltage drop or voltage overload. However, it's also worth checking the starter motor and its connections for any issues, as a faulty starter could also cause some of the symptoms you're experiencing. Sounds like you're heading in the right direction though having the alternator and starter tested by a professional mechanic to determine the root cause of the problem is never a bad idea.
