My engine light came on recently, just after the 35,000 mile check up, It only has 31,400 though. The air bag light came on first it was tracked down as a wire problem, now the engine light came on. Drove car as suggested hwy city filled up tank still no help. Any help appreciated.

There are many reasons the light can come on, you will need to have the codes checked to determine where to go from here. These systems are very sensitive and it is not abnormal to see or feel any change in performance with the light on. Check with local parts stored, they will often check the codes for free. Post the code here and someone can give you an idea as to what the problem might be.
