Water must have got into some water sensitive components, it will probably just dry out but make sure no water is in the air filter housing. If the water was deep water can enter the engine and cause it to hydraulic lock causing serious engine damage. Perhaps spray water dispersant like WD40 on electrical connectors and allow to dry off for several hours. Se if you have fuel at the injector rail on cranking, perhaps it saw the flood as an accident impact and tripped the fuel pump cut off switch if that car has one like some other Fords.
