What is your question?
It sounds like it’s trying to start and then just clicks after a couple tries. When I first bought it 2 months ago, it would start after a couple tries... the guy blamed it on the cold weather...now it’s been warm and won’t start at all without a jump.
How long has your 2000 Ford Mustang had this problem?
Since I bought it 2 months ago—-but when I first got it, it started on its own after a few tries, now needs jumped every time

I would be focused on the basics - it sounds like the battery is not capable of handling the load of starter motor cranking the engine. Sounds like testing should be done with the battery first. Once a known good battery is installed and present, then rechecking can be performed -- If a problem continues, other starting system electrical areas can be inspected. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops That's a link to find a shop near you that can help.
