the compressor is stopinng the motor from turning over!! is there a way to run a shorter belt or do i have to replace compressor?

I looked at the fan belt routing on the various engine options for the Mustang and don't see the automatic belt tensioner being able to adequately tension the fan belt with out the air conditioning compressor being present. maybe a company that specialize in racing Mustangs have an idler pulley you put on in place of the compressor (you would not have air conditioning on a race car).
