worth parts. The price I was given was $2,550.00? Does that sound right. The car was rarely driven by my mom and now has only 79K miles on it and is in good shape. Is it worth doing the work?

I would advice you to look around first. Not that i have any problem with AAMCO but i never paid more than 800$ for a AOD transmission at my neigborhood tranmission shop. They gave me 2 year warranty too . Our shop charged less then 300$ to remove and install.

What transmission are we talking about? Shop around because that's a little high and you never mentioned the warranty. We buy all our rebuilt transmissions from SMI and charge $108/hr to install.
