What is your question?
So driving 70 the rpms go u,p an car seems to slow down,. When I pull over and put it in park then back in drive it's fine. This has only happened a few times, but you can clearly hear the engine Rev up.
What makes this problem better or worse?
When I pull over an put in park this seems to fix the problem . Other than that I'm not sure.
How long has your 2017 Ford Fusion had this problem?
It's only happened a few times in the last 3 months

Hello, it sounds like for some reason the automatic transmission is losing engagement when engaged in the highest gear. If the transmission loses engagement, the engine speed will rev higher and you will lose speed and power. Hands on testing utilizing a diagnostic tool to monitor transmission operation is needed. Checking for any present diagnostic trouble codes will be a good start also. Use this link to find some shops near you that can help with your concern: www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
