My ford fusion 2015 is showing hill assist not available, my car doesn't go over 50mph and the break lights are on with nobody in the car. Please help before i take it to the mechanic

Hands on diagnostic testing is needed. Not sure why brake lights are illuminated unless the brake pedal is seen as being engaged, which could cause some things to happen -- so testing will probably illuminate a problem in that area.
