Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! If your Hill Assist, ABS, and traction control lights are coming on when turning left, it’s likely there's an issue with one of your wheel speed sensors, possibly on the left side. When you turn, the sensor may be sending faulty information to the car’s computer, causing the system to think there’s a traction or stability problem. The stiff steering is related—since modern systems rely on these sensors for stability control, a malfunction can affect steering assist. Check the wheel speed sensors for any loose connections, damage, or dirt. If those are fine, it might be a wiring issue or even a problem with the ABS module itself.
