I’m replacing the oil pan gasket on my 2011 ford fusion 3.0 and I’m wondering exactly where to put rtv sealer at the back where the main bearing retainer plate is located. Do I run a bead all the way across where the retainer meets the block at a 90 degree corner. Thanks

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. I am seeing only an application off a couple of dots off sealant in strategic places.
