What is your question?
Abs warning light came on after start one chilly morning when I released parking brake. Mechanic said DTC was C1095 and I needed to replace abs monitor for $2500. Seemed very high to me so said would take car elsewhere. When picked up vehicle noticed abs warning light was no longer on. When asked mechanic claimed he "erased" the code (without fixing??). Have driven car 100+ miles and abs warning light has yet to come back on. Wonder if he simply topped off brake fluid or checked tire pressure and that fixed it. Question: if abs warning light doesn't come back on, am I good to go? Many thanks for help!

Hello, the code and failure will likely reoccur, as a C1095 code is evidence of a hydraulic pump motor circuit failure that has occurred -- and although it can be intermittent it generally doesn't set as a "mistake". In the meantime, though, drive your vehicle as normal and see how it goes. No sense of urgency if the problem does not reoccur right away.
