Hi - I am Dave, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Dynamite - will get you results - but I do not think the ones you desire! Haha. Things you want to understand first. Number one, the refrigerant system under the hood is independent from the climate control system inside the car. It can be cold under the hood, but warm in the car because of the climate control system. It can be warm under the hood, but inside the car everything is blowing to favor the cold if there was cold there. This would be due to refrigerant system, having a fault. Start under the hood. Is the pipe that goes to the evaporator core at the firewall cold at all times? With the air conditioning turned on? Does the compressor cycle on and off every 8 to 10 seconds or so? Or is it cycling quickly? Or does it just stay engaged all the time? Do your condenser fans operate? Does the air conditioning work on the freeway but blow warm in traffic? If under the hood is cold, can you verify that the inside of the car climate control doors are turning to favor cold temperatures instead of hot? There are clear questions and the answers will steer you in the right direction. Definitely reach out to a specialist near you to help you with diagnosis and testing when you find out what's going on. No dynamite required. :) https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link to find some shops near you who can help out!
