I have 2010 fusion. i was on the hwy and it shifted/jerked and then gave it some gas and rpm did nothing. it wouldnt do anything. I turned it off then back on then was fine for about 2 miles then it did it again. check engine lights on now. Its been shifting crazy sometimes. any ideas?

either the fly by wire system or a trans issue. get a shop to pull the code and verify. check with the dealer for warranty coverage. Roy
If you lose throttle response and the wrench light and check engine light come on, you need to replace your Throttle Body. The part is $170, and you could easily replace it yourself (15 mins tops!). Dealers have been known to charge up to 500 for part and replacement.
