When the orange engine light comes on, absolutely no power. Once the light goes out it’s back to normal but mechanics cannot find a code.

I find it odd that no "memory" code is present once an active fault has been recorded. You may require a Ford IDS diagnostic tool or equivalent to perform proper diagnostic testing. Either way, if no "evidence" remains, testing should be able to see what is happening while the concern is actively occurring.
