Why is my ford running hot and when put in neutrel and rev the motor up it cools down

What is your question?

The temperature hands stays in the middle of h and c and after about two miles it's going up and if you out the car in neutrel and rev it up the temperature hands goes down a lil and push the gas to go it goes way back up

What makes this problem better or worse?

Putting thr car in neutrel and rev the motor up it cools
