Ihave a 2006 ford fusion and the tranmission just gave up. and the ford co. said they can't find parts and want to replace a new tranmission. Should the ford co. pay for this . the car is only 4 years old.

Every manufacturer has a warranty that you agree to when you purchase the car, and once it's over you're responsible for repairs. But isn't the powertrain warranty 60 months/60,000 miles?
