Need clutch master cylinder push rod

I need urgent help - in risk of losing job. The clutch master cylinder for my 2006 Ford Fusion 2.3 L went out and I found out it's a dealer only part. My mechanic removed it and I ordered a new one. In the meantime, the push rod was somehow lost and the new part does not come with one like most other clutch master cylinders do. I was supposed to be back to work tomorrow but now I can't find this part anywhere and the dealership doesn't know how to locate one. Any help is greatly appreciated.
