car stops running but the engine is still running, car still in Drive or reverse

looks like you need a transmission but not 100% sure without having the vehicle here.

the transmission must be a common problem on these..my fiend just bought 2 of these vehicles from 2 different people,same year for $700.00 each..he ordered 2 transmissions,put em in,they look like new,dive like new
