Over heating won’t start

What is your question?

Was driving my car when it randomly overheated... turned it off to cool down put water in the radiator to see if it would start back up and now won’t start at all... it has plenty of oil in it so I know it’s not that. What would cause this?? Also two days prior to this my dad tried to recharge my A/C. Would this have anything to do with it?

IF engine overheated EXCESSIVELY - it is possible internal damage has occurred.. *Hands-on* testing / evaluation by qualified personnel will be required. GOOD LUCK !
