my check engine light just came on, how do I check to see what is wrong or reset

Any drivability issues like rough running,stalling, or hesitation? Have you filled with fuel recently? Could just be the fuel cap. Double check that the seal on it is good then tighten it down. May just turn off after a few drives.

Suggest FULL scan test at local repair shop to determine why light is on .. You 'can' have a parts store read the codes then post them here for more help.
