My check engine light is on with the code PO182. Will this cause my car to not start

While this code suggests a problem within the fuel temperature sensor / circuits - it does not indicate a failed fuel temperature sensor - furthermore there are multiple issues that can set the code. A common mistake is parts replacement without the required testing to prove a particular part has failed.
