close driver door light stays on. the interior lights will not go off. what do I

*Liberally spraying* WD-40 into the *door latch assembly* then closing & opening the door several times usually fixes this problem. Occasionally & in addition - compressed air from an auto shop air compressor is needed to help clean and free up the sticking or stuck door ajar switch - which is located inside the door latch assembly. Recommend this for each door.

next to where the headlights can be turned on and off on the right there is a dial. if the dial is completely engaged that can permanently keep the interior lights on. The dial also controls how bright the dashboard lights are. Hope this helps!
