Help the engine stall when I go over 50 miles the RPM jumps to 3000 and stalls

Everyone who owns this make n model freestar if u see this please google pcm issue n all vehicles info in also u will see numerous exspectations of what a pcm is and does the car equivalent of a human brain and ford decided to place the vans brain if u will they mounted it behind the glove compartment with just the cowl cover n not much else between it and Mother Nature well if that's not pushing its safety from detrimental water basically the equivalent of kryptonite to Superman water is to elictrical components where there i path water rain not that much rain mind u finds and it is crazy how water is pushed straight to where the pcm connects to everything and well use ur imagination best advice from a guys who thought I had it all figured out and acted b4 I realized at that point I still had a full corse worth of information on the pcm n it's role that I didn't no and paid a expensive price for it do sum reading get a little insight and take it one step at a time and hopefully catch any damage b4 it gets to costly if not eBay has the best way to go if u decide to shell out the noney make sure u get all little details correct and matched up with original I believe the same company that will have a re programmed pcm you are also going to have get a new key with a chip in it just waiting to be matched up to the new brain again do the research and find the procedure to plug everything back together follow instructions to link chip in key to pcm careful I had to do it twice many years ago and still have the first key I fucked up the linking process and had to buy another it hurts me just thinking back on this exsperiance do it right dont worries it not all that difficult it's just got be done 1 way unless you don't have a budget restriction let the deal do I learned a lot during this fix but no problems since this a very good reminder that b4 u make a purchase of this size do alittle research no matter what year what model if issues like this are common problem for one reason or another there's a lot of guys n gals like me that live n breath cars n trucks n are usually willing to help out where we can
