You must first remove the wiper valance below the windshield. It's the plastic piece that the windshield washer sprayers are connected to and has vents on it. Once removed you then have to remove the bolts and crossmember under that. This will allow a lot more room to be able to access what you need. I also recommend changing out the coil pack also because you would have to do the same thing all over again if that fails.
