new long block install

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. I have questions - first, why was the long block installed? Second, where was the long block sourced from? Are you fully certain it is the absolutey correct block for your vehicle as built? I am more concerned about proper application of the replacement engine for this vehicle, as originally built. Hi, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Thanks for reaching out. I’m a little confused by your questions. It sounds like a new long block was installed due to a timing belt failure, I hope I’m understanding that correctly. Assuming that you are using the correct long block for that vehicle and there are no issues with the new long block itself… The U2100 code sounds like the engine module lost initialization which would make sense given everything you’ve described. I don’t know if the Autel is capable of doing that, if you are not able to find out within the tool itself you may contact their support line. C2003 has to do with a sensor in the steering wheel and that likely also just needs an initialization procedure done, though the sensor itself could also be faulty and need replaced. P0014 is for the exhaust camshaft on bank 1 reading as over advanced which indicates that you may have the timing not setup correctly after the install or you have a faulty or clogged VCT solenoid.
