What is your question?
I'm looking into buying the Ford Escape and the word Ecoboost has come up in my research. It seems intriguing but I'm still not sure what it is.

EcoBoost is an option on many Ford vehicles that combines turbocharging — a process that forces extra compressed air into the engine's combustion chamber to create more power — and direct fuel injection to make the engine more powerful without any major effect on fuel efficiency.
Ecoboost engines use a turbo or 2 depending on if it's a 4 or 6 cylinder. This not only adds power but also efficiency. This is basically Ford's lineup of powerful yet economical engines that are not hybrids. Alex
Thank you! Powerful and economical seem like very good things for an engine to be!
Very interesting! I'm not sure if EcoBoost will be a major factor in my decision to buy a car, but it certainly isn't a detractor either! Ecoboost seems very cool!
