What is your question?
I am 65 years old and never heard tires on any of my cars that make the noise these tires do on my Ford Focus. While driving on highway or any road with cut lines in the concrete I get a pinging noise from the tires that echos in the car. I have lowered the air pressure to 32psi no help. My thought is the tire sidewalls are too stiff and not absorbing the minor faults in the road. The tires are Goodyear Assurance.

Hello, did you purchase the vehicle or just the tires 4 months ago? I can't say that this is abnormal, but then, I can't hear it! Many things influence road noise - it could be tire tread pattern, tire wear pattern, wheel bearing noise, and sure - the construction of the tire, if it's not what you're accustomed to, or if it's not the best match for the vehicle. Lots of unknowns here, so I can't really weigh in, other than to suggest a professional assessment to see if there's a resolvable cause to what you're hearing, or if the noise is representative of a larger issue.
