What is your question?
I went in for an oil change at the auto dealership. I was given my report card and sent on my way. I noticed that the oil light came on while going back to work. I called and eventually was told that this is sometimes normal, the sensor can stick and call back if it continues. I left work and the light came back on again, then the check engine light, then the battery and the car broke down, I had to get it towed to the dealership. After they reviewed, they admitted to their mistake that the tech forgot to add oil back in and that they were going to rebuild my engine for me and give me a warranty. I am wondering will that rebuilt engine make my vehicle lose value and will this new engine be ok? I am not sure how to handle this situation and certainly don't want to get taken advantage of, which I feel might be happening. Looking for any advice offered.
