Dashboard cuts out and front right light turns off back left light turns off signal lights won’t work and when the vehicle is turned off when it does that it won’t turn on for a couple hours

The problem occurs often if the vehicle has been on for a bit I’ll be driving and my dashboard kicks off with the lights and the other things I listed. I turn it off and try to turn it back on and it won’t the only thing that kicks on is the fan. A few hours will pass and the vehicle can turn back on everything back to normal. But say when my dashboard goes out and if I continue driving the driving is still smooth just non of the electrical works no blinker no beside the right side break light and the left side front light. I bought a new battery and I got the alternator tested and it was in good condition.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It seems worse when it’s hot outside but not 100% sure
