Driver side bulb out, replaced both bulbs. Driver side bulb out again, replaced connector. Driver side bulb out again, checked all wiring, swapped bulbs, both worked for a week. Now both bulbs out, passenger side first. Was suggested we wire headlight together … this doesn’t sound like a good idea … suggestions ?

If both bulbs keep burning out, you likely have voltage spikes, poor grounding, or excessive heat at the connectors. Start by checking the alternator output—if it’s overcharging (above 14.8V), it could be frying the bulbs. Also, inspect the headlight grounds—a weak ground can cause resistance, leading to overheating. If the connectors look melted or discolored again, you might need a new headlight harness.
