Hello, Just remove the plastic cover under the passenger side of the dashboard, and then you will have a clear view of the blower motor and resistor. It is to the left of the blower motor, and there should only be two electrical connections there. One is for the blower motor, and one is for the resistor.
It is a Ford Focus Titanium with dual auto hetaing/cooling colkntrol. Are you sure the resistor is located on the passenger side ? I have been told by other it is on the drivers side, and i would have to remove the accelerator peddale to get access to the resistor. Please confirm.
They are correct, sorry about the misinformation. The blower motor and resistor should be accessible from the driver side, and yes, the pedal assembly has to come out. When you go to do the replacement, the trim panels will be need to be removed, and you will see the resistor installed between the blower motor and firewall, towards the bottom of the blower motor.
