Cant find sensor or connection for 2010 ford focus s

I've been working on the car some parts were missing but 1 wire, I couldn't figure out where it goes. It on the driver side, up by the headlight and there is no sensor,module or switch. And it doesnt connect to the headlight. It's a 2 pin connector that's red and black, it's like the connector for the horn.

How long has your 2010 Ford Focus had this problem?
