Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! A P0193 code is a Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input, which differs slightly from an EVAP code. While the EVAP system is related to the fuel system, it's more like a cousin than a sibling. This could explain the rough idling and poor gas mileage you're experiencing. Start by checking the wiring and connections to the fuel rail pressure sensor. A faulty sensor or a wiring issue can cause erratic fuel pressure readings. If the wiring looks good, the sensor itself might need replacing. Sometimes, a clogged fuel filter or issues with the fuel pump can also trigger this code. If you're uncomfortable digging into this, visiting a pro might be the best route.
