Ball park figure with a Ford remanufactured unit - probably $3,300 installed? Check your local dealer for the cost... Or check local non-dealers for aftermarket options. The Ford unit, though, has a compelling warranty - 3 years and 100,000 miles I believe.

Thanks for the help but that's not it. I am getting fuel. Someone sent me a link on how to troubleshoot the ignition system. I'm kind of leaning in that direction. I was going to jump on it yesterday afternoon but it got late. When it was towed home he couldn't get it in the garage so I have to work on it in the swail. At 70 I'm kind of spoiled.
