What is your question?
My car's downstream Oxygen Sensor is going bad frequently. A mechanic has recommended that I reprogram the car's computer. I just wanted to find out - Is it even reasonable to think that reprogramming the computer would solve the problem ? - How much would you estimate the price will be for reprogramming this ford's computer? Thanks

The answer is yes. Today's vehicles have several computers. These computers like your desktop need the operating system updated from time to time. Additionally, you'll want to make sure that your repair shop is using namebrand original equipment manufacturer parts. This is increasingly important with today's cars. The more sophisticated the car gets the more specific the components need to be.A cost to reflash your computer would be approximately $150
