I have a 2003 Ford focus that is pretty much stalling if not moving

If your Focus is stalling at idle, it could be related to fuel delivery, intake air volume, or the spark that ignites the air/fuel mixture. There are a few standard things to check regarding this issue. It could be caused by a dirty throttle body, a dirty or faulty idle air control valve, a weak fuel pump, a large vacuum leak, or even severely worn spark plugs. While a defective O2 sensor is a possible cause, it is much less likely.
