What is your question?
Died one day,sat couple of months so before I tore it all down, was going to see if it would crank. We had #1 spark plug out to see if it was getting fire and it cranked. Turned it off and it wouldn't start again. Could someone tell me why it's only getting fire sometimes.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Your '03 Focus cranking but not starting—and only getting intermittent spark—points to a possible ignition control or wiring issue. Often, this can be due to a failing ignition coil, bad spark plug wires, or even a problem with the crankshaft position sensor, which tells the engine control module (ECM) when to fire the spark plugs. If the sensor or wiring to the ECM is faulty, it might explain the sporadic spark you're experiencing. Checking the sensor connection and wiring for damage or corrosion could help pinpoint the problem.
