Lets just say it is one of those seals in that general area. Is that a costly fix?

There are two cams, so two cam seals, and the job takes a little over 3 hours, and it is not a job I would recommend for a novice. This is a repair that should be done at the same time as a timing belt replacement. So, if the cam seal is leaking, I would recommend having the timing belt replaced at the same time, kill two birds with one stone as the saying goes. Have you has the timing belt replaced yet? I believe it is supposed to be replaced at the 120,000 mile service.
