What is your question?
Ok so I have the Ford ZX3 Hatchback. Its a 2.0 Ztech twin cam engine. I thought I dropped my clutch as It had sounded like it had been slipping before it slowly just wouldn't move fast without accelerating more then I should have to. Overtime it got worse and then one day at a redlight it threw in the towel and wouldnt move. I replaced the clutch to find life still remained on the clutch. Yup ok Transmission now. I had just bought a American grade mid class clutch with a lifetime warranty for 350 so a new Tranny was not happening. I bought one at a junk yard for 250 from the same Car as mine. Well my transmission didnt fit. Ok so I have them rip out another one from another alike Zx3. It looked good untill we went to put it in and yup it was the wrong one for my Car. The third time I had my mechanic bring the old tranny with me and him to go match numbers and to use as a guide to find this mystery tranny. All of us agreed we had found the right one. The car was the exact year and type as mine and evenhad the roll down windows like mine. They again tore it out of another ZX3. This time it was not matching the shifter. No good dosent fit. I found this out today and have been lookimg for others who may know how to find this transmission that apparently dosent exists besides mine. What do I do now? I am going to another Big junk yard tommoww to try again but why is this happening? I thought somone may have put a aftermarket in but nope its original to the car.

There are six manual and four automatic transmissions possible for a 2002 Ford focus. It appears that there is a manual that only appears in the Coupe models, and a six speed that only appears in the SVT model. If you have a sedan, there are three options, match part number. If you have none of these, there is still one other that doesn't appear in any of the sedans, wagons, or coupes. I'm not sure exactly what car you have.
