What is your question?
when starting the cold engine a small vivration can be felt in the steering wheel & other places. When the transmission shifts into 3rd or 4th geer at 30 to 35 mph the vibration is quite pronounced. After 5 to 10 miles of driving it all smoths out. The Ford garage installed new spark plugs & wires but no change. They said the motor mounts checked ok. Any body out their with a similar experience?

The right side motor mount is collapsed. It is very difficult to see any failure, but trust me, we have repaired many, many Focus vibrations by replacing the mount.
had similar problem, it ended up being the trans mount
Thanks for answering and the link. I'll have the steering shafts checked when I put it in the shop. I changed all fuses and fusible links and put in a brand new battery. I checked the fuses with a tester and they are all good. The alternator is good. I was told that the EVO steering and the "air suspension" light were on the same fuses and module and the mirrors and drivers seat were on their own fuses and module as well. As I said I changed the fuses and still it didn't work. The switches on the door are getting electricity because they light up at night, they just won't work. I ordered an OBD II code reader that also was advertised to read for electrical problems. I'm waiting for it to arrive. I'm leaning more towards the modules are bad. I assume (as you said above) reverse polarity may have shorted them out. I don't know how it may happened though. I've owned several of these old gals over the years but this is the first time this has happened...lol.
Thanks Brian. That was my thought also. I will take your info back to the ford dealership mechanics. Is it the upper mount on the right side setting in the car or one of the bottom mounts?
