another rough idle question

What is your question?

My answer that i need is not found,,my daughter has a 2001 ford focus that when started runs very rough,i drove it today(12/12/09)i found nothing wrong with the running part,but it seems like it misses when the fuel is below 1/4 tank,the PCV valve is fine,all fulids are ok,the muffler is ok,is this just the way it is because it is a ford? thanks David

I would check the codes and no this is NOT a normal condition. if it really runs poorly when the tank shows 1/4, then make sure that your gauge is reading correctly and make sure that you have at least 10 gallons of gas until you precisely find the actual root of this problem
