I have a 2000 Ford Focus ZX3 with manual transmission the check engine is on and the code states it is the TPS SENSOR? I replaced it but check engine light is still on even after I removed negative terminal the code still marks that it’s the tps sensor. What can the problem be?

No code ever states what component has failed. A concern with the signal to or from the throttle position sensor does not necessarily indicate the sensor itself has failed. Obviously, based on the fact you have already replaced the sensor, there are further issues that have caused the light to come on, other than the sensor itself. Testing is needed to troubleshoot the code by following a diagnostic process which will check the affected circuit, related wiring and related components for issues.
